In communities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom, the Junior League is a driving force behind the kinds of initiaitives and institutions that make communities healthier, more vital places to live: childhood immunization, family literacy, women's shelters, children's museums, historic preservation, leadership development and more.

The Junior League of Pine Bluff works alongside numerous organizations, as well as independently, to bring about positive change in Jefferson County. With a focus on children's hunger and nutrition for 2010-2011, JLPB's backpack program is helping to improve the quality of life of numerous children in our area. With the help of the local Boys & Girls Club, JLPB will deliver over 3,500 backpacks this year to local children in need.
